I am just another one of those many other teenage bloggers you’ll find on WordPress and everywhere else on the Internet. My name’s Rukmini, and I live in Dibrugarh in Assam, India. My hometown is exactly what is described as ” a sleepy little town” in movies and literature, and it forms a big part of who I am, my thoughts and opinions, hence the name of myblog. I am not much of a writer or poet. I am someone who types little write-ups in a matter of minutes to caption her pictures on Instagram. ( Now that I think of it, I wonder if anyone else really does that) But people seem to like what I write and that makes me happy, because literature is my passion. That is why I figured I could set up a blog, just as a means of organising my views on a plethora of subjects that “bug” me, for lack of a better word, in my life. We teenagers tend to have opinions on almost every single thing that we have an idea of, or don’t have an idea of. I,for one, know  that my opinions are actually quite irrational, more fueled by emotions rather that good solid reasoning, but they are pretty strong opinions. And having a tiny corner on the web where I express them all isn’t going to do any harm, so here I am.

My blog is going to be a galimaufry. I have a really happy life, and though I cannot call myself mature, I understand that life is not at all Tumblr. I am a 90’s kid ( I’m 17). My favorite writers are Ruskin Bond and Khaled Hosseini. I haven’t yet started reading the Russians and I do not read Chetan Bhagat, Durjoy Dutta or Stephanie Meyer. The reason I state these non-related facts, is because these facts are going to reflect in my blog posts, all of these and more. I adore reading personal blogs. An insight into the daily lives of people, their little happy moments makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And I really hope my blog gives the same feels to whoever reads it.:)

My first blog post. Hallelujah! There will be more. I do not know what, or when, but there will be more for sure.
